Do children travel for free?
Children aged 4 to 11 always pay the cheaper Easy Night fare, subject to the conditions of the Flex Night fare.
Children aged 3 and under travel free if they share a bed, couchette or seat with a fare paying passenger. A bed, couchette or seat may only be shared by one child aged three and under and one other person. If you would prefer your child to have their own bed, couchette or seat, please book a ticket with the child fare.
How can I book a ticket?
You can book tickets directly on the European Sleeper website or through major rail booking platforms.
Can I change or cancel my ticket?
Yes, you can, but there are terms and conditions: (1) no refund for cancellations of an Easy Night ticket, (2) 100% refund for cancellations of Good Night tickets up to 30 days before departure and 50% refund for cancellations up to 15 days before departure, (3) 100% refund for cancellations of Flex Night tickets up to 48 hours before departure.

Can I bring my dog in the night train?
Dogs and cats are allowed. Provided you book a private compartment. Guide dogs for the visually impaired and people with restricted mobility are also welcome on the European Sleeper trains. No other types of pets are allowed on the European Sleeper trains. Read more about travel with dogs or cats.
