Accessibility and assistance
Accessibility
At present, European Sleeper trains do not meet accessibility requirements. As a result, there are no full facilities available for persons with disabilities or reduced mobility on European Sleeper trains. We are working hard to make this possible in the future. The following options are currently available:
foldable wheelchairs can be brought along
However, foldable wheelchairs can be carried as luggage. Please contact customer service at service@europeansleeper.eu to pass this on. Please note that moving on the train with a wheelchair is not possible.
For travel with another aid, please contact us by sending an email to service@europeansleeper.eu. It is not possible to travel with mobility scooter or a tricycle.

Travelling with an assistance dog is allowed. However, you must book a private compartment. For a free upgrade to a private compartment, email service@europeansleeper.eu.

If you need assistance at the station, please submit your request in good time to NS reisassistentie for the Netherlands (www.ns.nl/reisinformatie/reizen-met-een-beperking/ns-reisassistentie.html), DB Mobilitätsservice-Zentrale for Germany (www.bahn.de/service/individuelle-reise/barrierefrei) or CD for the Czech Republic (www.cd.cz/cestovani-zdravotne-hendikepovanych/default.htm).
assistance on the train by our train staff
Train staff offer assistance on the train whenever possible. Please let us know your need for assistance at least 1 day before departure by contacting us.
warning before approaching your stop by train staff
On the train not every stop will be announced to guarantee passengers a good night's sleep. However, the steward on the train can give you a timely personal warning as your exit station approaches. Before you sleep, please inform the steward of your request. You can also contact us at least 1 day before departure, and we will pass the request along.
